This unique and dynamic class combines Vinyasa flow yoga with muscle sculpting movements that are purposely tailored to counter the typical aspects of our culture that often plague our bodies with damaging long term effects (think: computer monitor, cell phone, sitting all day, poor posture, weak core). Each hour long class starts with a gentle warm up, sun salutations, and core strengthening to prepare you for flowing postures of strength, balance, and active stretching, ending with a gentle cool down and guided deep relaxation. The first two weeks of class are focused on yoga foundations, essential for those newer to the practice or returning from a break. Expect to be challenged and rewarded, leaving each class with a renewed wellspring of energy and calm sense of tranquility. Open to all levels. Bring a yoga mat, towel and water bottle. New students – 1st class is free. All students – bring a friend and receive one free class.
